Senior dogs

WoodyI love the oldies!  Improving the quality of life in older dogs is definitely one of the most rewarding aspects of my work!

We can’t prevent ageing, but we can ensure your dog’s quality of life remains as high as possible for as long as possible during their twilight years. Arthritis is one of the most significant reasons for loss of mobility and quality of life, and ultimately euthanasia in dogs. No-one can cure arthritis, but there are many ways we can slow its progression and maintain quality of life in our companions.

Physiotherapy can help maintain strength and mobility in your pet so they can get on with their life!

So if you think your dog looks stiffer than normal, struggles to get up or just isn’t as keen to go out as they used to be, you may be seeing arthritis.

Your vet will be able to refer your dog for physiotherapy treatment to help.
